Inner Dialogue

Wow... I had a moment today that I haven't had in a really long time. I was sitting in my office, getting some stuff done, and it hit. Surrounded by legos and talking to someone about what I wanted to do with those, about the new programming language I want to dive into (Alice), and about some of the exciting elements I want to bring to the program, it hit. For just a moment, I got all caught up in the excitment of learning something new... and I realized, that maybe, just maybe, I'll be able to find the time it takes to immerse myself into that type of learning. It's not the kind of stuff you can just skim over and pick up. You need to be able to dig in deep, wrap your brain around it, and take it for a spin. Haven't had that kind of time... and I still don't really... but the clutter is clearing and it's looking good up ahead :)
