Part I - The Web Site

I will be grading heavily based on the Web Style Guide. I will view your pages in Firefox, Netscape and MSIE. All of the elements listed above will need to be incorporated into your web site.

There will be a peer review process that you can use to help develop your site. You will be expected to look at your classmates projects based on criteria we discuss in class.

Part II - Project Summary and Peer Review

In a 1-page report (1-2 screens), sum up the steps you took to create your site. Describe any difficulties you encounter and how you address those problems. What was the most difficult part of the project and why? What did you like the best about it? What did you learn? What more do you think you need to learn to be a more effective web designer?

This section is weighed heavily in your midterm grade - be sure to address all of the questions. This is the reflective piece. I want to see what you were thinking, what you learned, why you made the choices that you did, and where you want to go from here.

Part III - The Presentation

Your midterm will be uploaded to your website midterm folder and linked to your homework page. You will also link your report to your homework page. I will read the peer reviews on the discussion board and give credit from there.

Part IV - Evaluation

I will post an updated grade sheet here soon so you will know what I am looking for on your project.
