Emergency Medical Technology program online testing site allows enrolled students the opportunity to manage proctored exams online in a low stress environment that provides immediate feedback and review. The EMT program provides instruction in the pre-hospital emergent and non-emergent evaluation and care of the sick and injured. All components include effective safety management for use prior to arrival, during an incident and after patient and/or scene management is completed.
Students sucessfully completing all components of this program earn a course completion certificate and skills verification form. With these two documents the California State certification exam (managed by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians) may be completed. Once passed, final application to an EMS Department for Certification as an Emergency Medical Technician - Basic (1 Ambulance) completes the process.
