Assessment
This is a skills-based course and the evidence of student learning can be seen in the outcomes of their projects. Students are asked to create a midterm website utilizing style sheet coding. They have the option of creating an entirely new website or remodeling an old project they have previously worked on.
The final project is usually a collaborative web site for a real client. One semester, the class worked on the Springville Rotary website, taking on the roles of production manager, graphic designer, or programmer. They worked together to accomplish tasks, learned how to program a php script, and came up with a website the club was pleased with.
