Where Can I Find Online Classes?
Visit http://www.cvc.edu/catalog.asp and browse through the resources there. Search for courses you might be interested in taking. Select 3 courses that look interesting to you. Answer the following questions:
- What is the name of the course?
- What college is offering each class?
- What are the requirements for enrollment?
- Would you consider completing a degree program online? Why or why not?
When responding on the discussion board, please
use complete sentences and paragraphs. You should try to write at least 100-150
words (1-2 paragraphs).
Assessment
Assessment in this class is divided into three areas: discussion board participation, weekly self-reflection, and a final exam. Students have a new assignment daily that involves posting to the discussion board. At the end of each week, students are asked to self-reflect on what went well that week, what didn't go well, and what they could improve. This has become a very valuable exercise for the students. The final quiz includes questions from material covered during the two-week course.
