Requirements:

How do I enroll?

If you are not already pre-enrolled, you can show up Thursday morning (early if you can). High school students must fill out an application for the college AND a concurrent enrollment form.

1) Cerro Coso Admission/Update Form: https://banweb.kccd.edu/prod/kwskadms.P_DispIntro
This form can be filled out ahead of time (preferably) or the morning we start the class (Thursday).

2) Concurrent Enrollment Form: [PDF]
Instructions for completing the concurrent enrollment form: http://www.cerrocoso.edu/studentservices/admissions/concurrent/instructions.htm
The concurrent enrollment form must have a parent signature. High school students under the age of 18 will not be allowed to participate in this class without a parent signature. You can print off the PDF above and bring it with you Thursday morning or we will have blank forms available on site. Note: There is a section for your school to fill out. Since this is a winter intercession class, you will not need to complete that section.

3) Add Form
We will have these the morning of the first class to officially register you in the class if you haven't done that already.

What will we be doing?

Learning, creating, building, programming, working together, solving interesting problems, and having fun! On Thursday and Friday our schedule will look something like this:

9am Class will start promptly at 9am. The classroom will be open at 8:30am if you want to come early. Don't come late!
12:30-1:15pm Lunch time - students are responsible for their own lunches. There are places nearby to grab something to eat or you can bring your own. We will be staying in the classroom so if you want to eat and work on your project that is ok also.
1:15pm Be prompt on coming back from lunch so your team can get back to work!
4pm Thursday and Friday class is over for the day. Phew! If teams want to stay and work Friday evening, we can be in the classroom until 8pm.
